Since I'm 9000 miles away from the closest WoW server and several hundred miles out to sea, it's tough for me to keep up with the WoW community and the latest news. I stumbled across this article today and found it moderately interesting as it contrasts and compares the topics covered by some of the guides and articles on this very sight.
It seems two enterprising players bought out almost the ENTIRE auction house in Iron Forge on their server. I immediately found this perplexing as I have barely ever had enough cash to by a trip to Iron Forge on a griffon. Ok, that's not true, but you get my point.
After glossing over the auction-house buyout, the article goes on to discuss the pros and cons of skill grinding and what effect AH prices may or may not have on such practices.
If anything the article sparks a semi-intelligent debate in the comments below it. A refreshing difference from the blather that appeared in the WoW community forums concerning the buyout.
Enjoy.
