Kel'Thuzad World First Kill: Who really won?

 Well as Naxx has been out for awhile, the final boss kills have just started appearing. And just recently, Kel'Thuzad was kiled by multiple guilds, namely Nihilum & Death and Taxes. Now I know Nihilum supposedly actually killed Kel'Thuzad first, but DnT was, to me, gipped. DnT had to wait for Blizzard's tech support to respawn Kel'Thuzad for them after he glitched and despawned.

Now, wouldn't that make an unfair advantage for other guilds to win as DnT had to wait for about a week? I think so.

So, what would you say on this?

Well technically Death & Taxes got gipped but it went down the way it did and nihilim beat them to it. Though I must admit I was rooting for DnT and when I found out what happened I was annoyed to say the least.

I look at it as one part luck of the draw and one part "who-knows". Nihilum may of gotten lucky when D&T had their Kel'thuzad despawn on them, but who knows if D&T would have downed him first anyways. World first kills are very dependent on winning a lot of 'rolls' and less dependent on over all strategy. If Kel'thuzad hadn't despawn there is no guarantee that D&T would have won against him anyways.

I guess for me it comes down to an "it comes with the territory" philosophy. If you are gunning for 'world first' status then you have to except the idea that you will be in unstable parts of the game. It isn't that they were gipped, but that these things happen and have to be expected. Least that is what I think...

yeah I guess. I was really hoping DnT would get them first, but I guess not. And yeah, the world first kills would be unstable, but wouldn't Blizard send in a test group of GM's or something? Who knows.
