| Ummm, rookie questions... |

Okay, I am either blind or just don't see it.
1) How do you remove the UI temporarily to take a screenie or while you're filming (via fraps)?
2) I have 3 'green' items that make no sense to me. I can access my act atm (have yet to install it on my "work" PC), but I recall one of them called "Malachites"-wthey is that?
3) How (if you can) can you custumize the UI?
Just a few for now.....

1: Alt Z
2: Green means that it is better quality, lower drop rate than white items, Blue is better than green and called Rare items, and Purple is better than Blue and called Epic items. The drop rates go down as the quality goes up. Malichite is a gem used by engineers, jewelcrafters, blacksmiths, etc to make trade goods. You can bank it for now or try to sell it on the Auction House.
3: Custom UI, look under the mods section in Links or Mods, there are some there. Also you can check out:
Curse-Gameing at http://www.curse-gameing.coom/en
World of War at http://www.worldofwar.net
WoWInterface at http://www.wowinterface.com
The good UI mods will have screenshots of different things on those sites so you can see what they will do and you can pick based on what you want to customize and your needs.
Personally I use Titan Bar and Cosmos the most and like them the best.

yep, dru pretty much covered it all. but just a notice, NEVER EVER sell green items to a vender. ALWAYS use them or sell them on the AH or just bank em until u have a chance to AH or use em.
oh and btw, thanks for recommending Titan earlier for me dru. it really helps =).

sonnovvamonkeybooger :p I've been getting quite a few of the Malachites lately, just vendored them cuz I had no idea what to do with them. Any idea what they usually go for? (or where I can find out?)

You get a fair amount of Malachites and Tigers Eyes from mining Copper Veins. I have Mining and Jewelcrafting, so the gems are actually useful to me for making trinkets. Best bet, sell them on the AH. Cool thing about Mining is that you can sell the smelted Copper Bars for good amounts at low levels, also, in the Auction House.

haha, lol sorry. well, the AH prices really just vary from realm to realm. in some realms, leather is the main product, in others, it may be cloth or ores. in my realm, copper bars tend to go for TONS. like 20 copper bars (or copper ores, 1 ore makes 1 bar) go for maybe 2 or 3 gold. so to check on how much they go for on ur realm, just go to the AH and type in the product u are selling. there will usually be quite a few other ppl selling it. then you can know how much to sell it for. however, if you are trying to sell a weapon or armor at high levels, you will most likely be the only one selling it so you will need to make the price urself. i myself am a mining jewelcrafter and i once bought 1 copper bar for 50s cuz i was sooooooooo close to making a really cool ring and didnt want to go out and mine some. hehe.

If you check the mods section you may decide to get auctioneer if you are going to do a lot of auctioning and dont know what the prices should be, they tend to be accurate.

LOL, u guys.
I don't think I will ever leave GW. It's more than the game, it's the community I am a member of. :-D
I do play WoW, not on a trial. It's good through the end of 2007 methinks. I got the retail box + 4 prepaid game cards. :p (pressy from a good friend)
Now, I plan to get some time into L2 as well. Just trying to "spread my wings". ^.^ I was just "drop-jaw" effect on the downloadable movies.
have new PC, will explore the digital world.
On topic:
Cosmos looks like a nice addon. Does it work on Vista 64bit? Don't wanna muckup my installation. (O).(O)

I am using Vista Home Premium and it seems to work just fine. I dont think it should affect it in anyway since it works with WoW and shouldnt affect OS. If you go to the Cosmos website you can see all their tools, I personally use the dev tools and sstuff just in case I have |
