While Blizzard has kept a tight seal on some of their expansion secrets, they have released a hundred or so pieces of art and character models, scenery and backgrounds. One of these pieces of art shows a mysterious character looking over the horizon and as rumors have it that the Alliance will be getting Pandaren or something grizzlier to offset player imbalances between the two sides. This enigmatic race (possibly Draenai) could be that unidentified species.
That's an orc in the picture...looks like a female one too. Look at the ears, the skin, and the broad forehead. That's got to be an orc unless they recently added Basques to the race lineup. Anywho, the person is standing in the emerald dream on one of the mountains that encircles the area...don't ask how I know this, I just do (I'll provide screenshots when my stupid converter decides to work). Anyways, don't want people to get any false hope about the "new race" in this picture :D.
I highly highly HIGHLY doubt they have release a picture of the new alliance race just like that. I have been on the WoW site, and there's an article on this about how blizzard is not relasing anything about the new alliance race til everything is ready, and I highy doubt this is the new race. It could just be a screenshot of a character just looking over some mountains!
Rumor has it that since Horde will be getting Blood Elves...(Which makes sense) that Allies will be getting somekind of creature native to Draenai but related to the orc. This would be a shame because it would be lazy for Blizzard to recycle species in this manner. I previously claimed the creature next to it was draenai...a falsity due to the fact it is clearly a mount... a detail i overlooked. if that is a mount, then it's a mount we haven't seen before which supports the new orc theory. There are no wings visible so it's not a new mount either. more to think about.
It just doesnt make sense that the blood elves would join the horde, for one thing they work for illidan and he really hates the undead (even the ones in the horde) the dreanie seem to be a good pick for the horde. the horde is mostly filled with ugly hidious creatures and look at the drania, not like all the other alliance people

The draenai would hate the horde. Orc's pillaged their lands and molested their lands. Blood Elves have been fighting with trolls against the scourge for sometime now. This awkward alliance and the betrayal of Kael'thas by the humans would serve to lean them to the horde.
