| QUOTE | | It's important to us that World of Warcraft offers a safe and enjoyable game environment. One aspect of that is helping players avoid account compromise, so we're pleased to make this additional layer of security available to them. |
-Mike Morhaime, CEO/cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.
It literally is a keychain, roughly the size of a flat twinkie, it generates a 6-digit code that you must enter, along with your account info, to log into your WoW account. After paying $6.50 for the 'highly needed' extra level of security, you link the keychain to your WoW account by entering the serial code located on the back of the device. After you have done that, you must press the button and type in the randomized, unique code every time you wish to log into your WoW account or edit account information. But hey, I bet noone is going to get to your 3p1c l00tz.
Oh, and its waterproof. For all those scuba-diving WoW-players out there.
