Another important aspect of equiptment (and some other items) is binding. a sort of spell that dictates whether you can trade an item or not. Low-level items have no binding whatsoever, meaning that these items can be equipped, removed and used by you for as long as u want, and you can still sell and trade them to other players. The three types of bindings include:
Bind on Equip
Once you've equipped this item it is linked permenatly to your character, and you can no longer trade it with other players. if you never equip it, however, you are free to trade or auction the item.
Bind on Use
Essentially the same as BOE, although this applies to items that are used rather than equipped.
Bind on Aquire
This binding causes headaches for some players, as it means that as soon as you pick up the item, u can never trade it. Be extremely careful with these items, as they can sometimes end up to be dead weight.
If you find yourself with a bound item that you no longer want, the options you have are to through away the item, or sell it to a vendor. atleast with a vendor you recive something for your troubles!
